Frequently asked questions about the web player

Find answers about Wemovexa IPTV, then choose the next check based on where your viewing workflow stops.

Locate the stage before looking for a fix

A viewing problem may happen before sign-in, while the catalogue loads or after video has started. Similar-looking screens can have different causes. First note what is already working: does the portal open, is your access recognised, do channels appear and does a second channel play? That short sequence makes the answers below easier to apply. It also helps avoid changing source credentials to solve something that only concerns a browser setting, programme metadata or local viewing preferences. Treat each stage as a separate part of the diagnosis.

If you cannot get past the portal

The existing-access sign-in expects your player identifier and recovery code. It does not expect the Xtream provider username and password, even if you received both sets of information together. Check which credentials you are using without publishing them. If the access is recognised but no line is assigned, the missing step is access configuration. The Xtream explanation separates those roles. Reloading the page repeatedly will not assign a source that is absent from the access record, and it will not import a file from your computer.

If no channels are visible

After sign-in, first review search and filters. A favourites-only selection or a search expression can hide otherwise available entries. If the catalogue genuinely fails to load, record the message and check the assigned source with the person managing the access. Having an M3U address on your device does not mean the application has imported it; the web interface has no general import control. The M3U and M3U8 page explains which information can be extracted from an assigned Xtream link and which documents fall outside that workflow.

If the catalogue loads but video does not

Metadata and media use separate requests. Try a second authorised channel to establish whether the failure is isolated or affects the whole source. Close unused playback sessions and note the player’s message. The provider may refuse a resource or connection; the browser may encounter a network restriction or an unsupported codec. The built-in proxy explanation distinguishes those possibilities. A single error code is not enough to identify an IP block, and visible channel names alone do not prove that the media endpoint is available.

If playback stops after starting

Note whether the stop occurs at the same point, with the same content or after a network change. Starting successfully does not prove that all subsequent resources are available: HLS fetches multiple files over time. Bandwidth and provider connection rules can also affect an ongoing session. Compare similar conditions with unused sessions closed, keep the source constant and change one condition at a time. A test that changes the browser, network and account together may produce a different result without revealing which of those changes mattered.

If only programme information is missing

An absent programme title is not the same as inaccessible video. The application uses source data to show now and next information; it does not infer a schedule from the picture. Compare another channel, and check the device clock if times look wrong. The EPG and XMLTV explanation describes the data paths and the absence of a manual XMLTV import box. Also distinguish the Guide panel in the player controls from a standalone main-navigation tab, which is not present in the current interface.

If two devices show different personal data

The access can be the same while favourites and history differ. Those records belong to browser local storage. Another profile, another browser or cleared site data may therefore show an empty list without any change to the underlying access. Source details can also remain on the device after a tab is closed. Review the privacy policy and keep recovery information privately before clearing data you may need to restore. Local deletion should not be confused with deleting the service’s server-side record or changing the provider account.

Make a support report easy to act on

Include the device model, browser, approximate time and visible error text. Say whether the catalogue opens and whether another channel works. Remove codes, passwords and complete source URLs from screenshots. The iPhone and iPad guide, smart TV guide and other walkthroughs provide device context. If the issue is a feature the player does not offer, the comparisons are a better next step than searching for a hidden setting. The answers below summarise the available features and their practical boundaries.

Frequently asked questions

Does the player supply channels or playlists?

No. Use your own legal IPTV subscription. These pages provide neither content nor playable source addresses. An interface with channel and movie categories is not a promise of an included catalogue.

Can I upload an M3U file in the web interface?

No. There is no general file upload or arbitrary M3U URL import field. The web player uses Xtream account information extracted from a line assigned to your access.

Which credentials belong in the sign-in form?

Use your player access identifier and recovery code in the existing-access workflow. These are different from the username and password issued for your provider’s Xtream account.

What does an unassigned-line message mean?

The expected source has not been assigned to the access for this workflow. Ask the person managing that access to check its configuration. Refreshing the page cannot create the missing assignment.

Why can I see channels but no video?

Catalogue metadata and media are separate requests. A provider refusal, network restriction or unsupported codec can stop playback even when the names and categories loaded successfully.

Does every source request use the proxy?

No. The normal web path relays relevant HTTP targets and uses a proxy path for the live catalogue. Some HTTPS addresses remain direct and still depend on the provider’s CORS policy.

Will the proxy solve every IP restriction?

No. A provider can reject the relay server’s address, an individual line or a resource. The cause needs checking; the proxy does not guarantee universal access or bypassing provider restrictions.

Do provider credentials stay only on my device?

No. Assigned line details are saved locally, the assigned URL is retained in the server registry and relayed requests send the necessary target information to the service. The proxy is not an anonymity tool.

Can I add my own XMLTV guide URL?

The current web interface has no manual XMLTV import field. Programme information comes from the available Xtream or server XMLTV paths, rather than an arbitrary guide file you upload.

Where is the programme guide?

The interface provides now and next information and a Guide panel in the player controls. There is no separate Guide tab in the current main navigation.

Does a missing EPG stop the channel playing?

No. Programme data and video are independent. A channel can play even when the source has supplied no usable programme title or schedule.

Are favourites synchronised across devices?

No. Favourites and history belong to browser local storage. Signing into the same access on another device or profile does not automatically transfer those records.

What does Resume in history mean?

History keeps up to 30 recent items and lets you launch them again. The label should not be read as a guarantee of automatically restoring the exact playback timestamp.

Can I record programmes or watch offline?

Those features are not claimed for this version. Playback needs network access to the source. Programme listings do not provide a recorder or a catch-up video archive.

Will every smart TV browser work?

There is no universal compatibility guarantee. The particular browser must support the interface, controls and media. Test an authorised source on the television model you intend to use.

Is there a native iPhone or Mac application?

No native iOS or macOS application is presented here. The documented workflow uses a browser. The Android APK and Windows desktop application are separate environments.

Can I change the interface language?

Yes. Settings offer Auto, Français and English. Provider data such as programme titles and channel names is not translated by changing the interface language.

Why might seeking in a movie fail?

The relay forwards Range requests, but seeking also depends on the upstream server, media and browser. Range handling does not automatically make a live stream rewindable.

Does closing the tab remove my details?

No. Local storage can retain assigned line details, favourites and history. Review site data on shared devices. Clearing browser data does not delete the server-side access record.
